Mark Hurd will be making on announcement on Wednesday 21st. Larry Ellison (you know who he is, right ?) will be making another announcement on Monday 26th.

What are they announcing ?

Exadata-Mini
BI Exadata
ExaLogic V2
ExaHadoop
SexiaBIHadoop (what I’d call whatever Oracle releases in the exaXXX domain as everyone is so infatuated with it !)

V12 Am I the only one predicting V12 for GA Q1 2012, but to be announced by Mark Hurd, nobody is interested in RDBMS version announcements any more ;(

If Larry is making an announcement separate from Mark, I’d bet Larry announces SexiaBIHadoop and Mark announces “boring” V12.
